I cook a lot in the kitchen and when I cook, I am on of those people who seem to get all of the ingredients all over myself, so I am always looking for an apron to help protect my clothing as I cook. I was recently offered the opportunity to try an apron by a company called Bellemain.
This wonderful apron is really cute as well as functional. Here are some of the features it lists:
2 Extra-Large Pockets Capacious front pockets give you plenty of room to stash cooking tools, tasting spoons, towels, potholders, a notebook and pencil … just about anything you need or want to keep at your fingertips as you move about the kitchen.
Extra-Long Ties It’s so much easier when you can tie apron strings in front rather than struggling with them behind your back. That’s why the Bellemain’s strings are extra long, so you can wrap them all the way around your body.
Generously Sized 27″W x 34.25″L Splashes and stains can ruin your clothes if your apron isn’t long enough or wide enough.
The Bellemain is. Sturdy, Easy-Care Fabric The Bellemain Chef’s Apron is made of strong, poly/cotton duck with soil release finish. To clean, simply throw it in the washing machine (with like colors) and tumble dry (low). Unisex Black & White Pinstripe
So now that I have told you about some of the features let’s talk about what I think of it. This certainly is made with nice thick and durable material. The pockets are nice and deep, so when you are putting things into them, they are going to stay there until you take them out. The strings are indeed nice and long and that is what I like about it. I like to tie my aprons up front. This is nice and long as well, so it does protect all of your clothing for the most part while cooking. This did hold up really nicely in the wash and didn’t fade at all. To be honest, I expected it to. This is now my go to apron to wear while I cook.
