Draw 4: Dig for Dinos

Playing games is a good way to help with learning no matter what age you are. As a parent, I love the games that have my child using their imagination and thinking. This one certainly does both of those.

Dig for Dinos is not a game that will easily become extinct in your household. This game resembles the game “Memory” only with a little bit of a twist. Depending on how many players you have will determine how many tiles you have to play with. You can have 2 to 5 players. This game is recommended for ages 5 and up, My son just turned five, and was able to play this game without any assistance from me.
Each tile has a side of the skeleton and the picture of the dinosaur. Each tile is thick and durable and offers fun vibrant colors to keep their attention. The object of this game is to excavate your dinos. You have to watch out though, because there are various things that can happen to prevent this. A player can take a part to one of your dinos or stop you in your excavating tracks. It is pretty easy to understand and the directions are well written to understand.

Average time for gameplay is 15 minutes. The first few times we played, it took a little longer than that, until the kids knew what the mystery cards were. Other than that, the kids had a fun time playing. This would be a great game to play with your children and a great gift item.
