I love finding different things to make things even more cool for my kids. Even for myself at times. I recently was offered a chance to take a look at these wonderful rim lights. The package includes A 3 pack of 2 x green 2 x blue 2 x colorful LED lights. Motion sensor LED technology ensures durability along with 50,000 hours of lifetime rust resistant, 1100% waterproof and usable through any terrain.
I’ve been waiting for some good weather here so that I could put these on my son’s bike, but living in the mid-west, it has been insanely cold, so I haven’t had any luck. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t just try them out for fun though. These wonderful lights run off of 3 small watch batteries. They also have valve covers. Before using these, you will need to twist them apart to remove a paper piece which acts as a block between the conductor and the batteries. Once you remove the paper, the lights will work. When I was messing with them, they are as bright as ever and the color is nice and rich. They are pretty cool actually.
These don’t necessarily need to be on just a bike though. They can go on strollers, cars, and much more. I wouldn’t recommend this on children’s toys because of the watch batteries. They are easily accessible. I wish the weather was better so I could’ve shown you all some pictures of these in action. Either way, I think these are awesome. and definitely would be pretty near for teens or adults.
