Some recipes using lavender essential oil..
Organic Lavender Essential Oil Recipes:
Homemade Coconut Lavender Shampoo
1 1/2 cups (1 can) coconut milk
1 1/2 cups liquid castile soap
40 drops lavender essential oil
BPA-free plastic dispenser bottles
Mix all ingredients in a bowl well.
Then, pour the mixture into a bottle.
Shake bottle before each use.
DIY Lavender Linen Spray
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) witch hazel or vodka
10 drops lavender essential oil
3 ounces (6 tablespoons) water
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well before spraying. Water and oils separate so always shake well before using.
Lavender Body Lotion
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp beeswax
5 drops lavender essential oil
Melt the coconut oil and beeswax together in a double boiler on your stove top. Once melted, add lavender oil and remove from heat. Let cool completely. Using an electric beater, whip the cooled lotion. This step may be unnecessary but I find that adding a little air to the lotion provides for a smoother consistency and a better mixture.
