I live in an older home out in the country. With that comes many unwanted bugs and in the winter mice. I am the type where I don’t like them, but I also don’t like killing them either. Call me crazy.
I came across a device called the Rid Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller. This is a pretty neat device to be honest. You plug it into an electric outlet and it promises to emit a high frequency sound wave to keep them away from your space. The idea was a neat one and is safe for your pets as well, so I wanted to give this device a try.
I plugged this in and waited to see the results. There is a small green light ont he front of this device which indicated that there is power going to it. I don’t hear any noice and neither do my pets. I waited a few weeks to post this review to see how it would work. To give you an idea of what I was dealing with, I had at least 2-4 spiders I would find everyday. I would spray peppermint oil, but for some reason, in the spring, it just didn’t prove as a successful tactic.
The first few days I seen a spider here and there in the room where it was plugged in. I wondered if this was truly working. After about a week, I no longer seen any spiders. I haven’t seen any of those pesky flies either. It has to be this working because any other year I would literally be going nuts by this time of year.
