Measurements will display readings in Grams (G), ounces (OZ), troy ounces (OZT), pennyweight (DWT), grains (GN), and carats (CT) depending on your choice. I am a person who is on a restricted diet due to health issues, so I have to weigh a lot of my food items. I have to have everything precisely correct. My other scale I was using, was very large and bulky. This scale is small enough for me to put in the drawer of the kitchen when I am finished using it, or in my purse when I am out and about. It is surprisingly very accurate. I thought with it being so small, that accuracy would be an issue. I was wrong.
