How did it work for me:
As many of you know, I live out in the country. It gets pretty dark to say the least. With electricity costs being so high, I can’t exactly leave the lights on all the time. There is nothing worse than coming home in the dark looking for a flashlight. Where I live, there are all kinds of critters that I would rather not encounter. Installation of this set was relatively easy. I used a drill, but a screwdriver would be sufficient as well. Directions for the motion sensor light was easy to understand. I installed these at around 9 a.m. CST. By evening time, they had a strong charge and were triggered on when I arrived home. The sensor doesn’t seem to be very touchy as I have rabbits and such in the yard and they didn’t trip it. The lighting was extremely bright.
The lighting continued to retain it’s strength throughout the evening. I have tried several which have seemed to lose their strength so this was a huge plus for me. How about the weather? That’s a good question. Many of you know that I am from the Midwest where we get all four seasons in a week. We have had a snowstorm, severe weather with freezing rain, and much more. This set still charged even on cloudy days. The lighting strength was still as strong as it typically was. Overall, this is a home-run in my book. I have tried many different solar motion sensor lights and this offers me the brightness and reliability that I need.
