We all like fresh and ice cold water and with technology these days, we can now get it out of the fridge with a water line that runs into it for convenience. To many people, it is the best thing since sliced bread, to me, I guess I just didn’t get it. I thought the water tasted like crap and my ice was horrible.
It never dawned on me that perhaps a water filter was needed to remedy this issue, let alone that any were made for a fridge water system, but there is. I had the wonderful opportunity to try the Woder 5k Inline water filter to help me out with my little situation. I didn’t install this, it was my hubby’s duty, but he said it was very easy and the whole thing took him no more than ten minutes. He is no handy man either, so you could probably get it done a lot sooner if you are good with things like this.
My husband let the water run for about two minutes to get the water going through the system for a little bit. I gave it a little while as even though there was a filter, I was reluctant to try this. I had my hubby go first. It did in fact work. When I tried for myself, my water was so clear, so crisp, and water never tasted so good to me from this little contraption from the fridge. I was surprised, no scratch that, ecstatic! My ice is even delish! Now, I am back to being a water drinking ice piggy!
I have some guests come over and ask me why my water and ice taste so great. They too have this issue, and when I shared my secret with them, it didn’t take long for them to hop on board the water filter bandwagon. If you haven’t tried this, you should, your going to be happy you did.
