My cousin has had a lot of issues with one of her feet. She is a diabetic and has had a sore on her foot that has refused to heal for her. Having this issue, she has had to wear a boot. For weeks, I have heard her complain that it was uncomfortable and was causing her skin on her calf to become raw and irritated. According to her, the boot she was using was making things worse rather than better.
I offered her the Dr. Kay’s Night Splint Brace for Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinopathy boot to give a try. She was excited to see what this one had to offer. Alone just by looking at this, she knew it would be better. You could tell just by the comparison of the boots, this one was the better one. Not only did this boot offer more comfort and support, but on the bottom of the boot, it had some traction to offer as well. As she put this on, the straps were padded and felt very nice against he leg. It wasn’t digging into her leg. Her foot was also more secured into this brace and had a lot more support from this brace. This brace has different areas to insure keeping your foot in place and comfort. The liner felt like a gel foam insert according to her which made it nice and comfy and less painful for her. The liner is held into the boot with heavy duty velcro, so if this needed to be washed, it certainly could be. The straps have heavy duty velcro on them and it seems to really hold together. It also comes with an insert in this boot if needed as well.
After her using it for a week, she was extremely happy. This boot not only was comfortable for her to wear, but helped her pain as well. She didn’t have the issues she was experiencing before and was very happy. This item retails for $19.95 USD and can be purchased on Amazon.com.
