Ozeri Precision Digital Bathroom Scale

With the New Year comes New Year’s Resolutions. For many, their resolution has to do with losing weight or becoming healthier overall. One key component to reaching this goal is to have the proper tools in your endeavor. One of those tools should be a reliable scale to measure starting points as well as progress. 

Ozeri is a brand that not too many people are aware of and that’s where I come in. I am here to tell you about this great company and one of their wonderful products. This brand is often found in vacation residences around the world. They have top notch quality products for the home, kitchen, bathroom, health and fitness, and their Avotre Sante line. This company goes based on word of mouth from their guests about their products, cutting the cost of advertising and passing the savings to the consumer. I was recently offered the wonderful opportunity to try the Precision digital bathroom scale they have in their product line. Of course I jumped on this opportunity as I am on of the many people who likes to monitor my weight. This product comes packaged in a very appealing box. When opened, the scale is held into place for shipping with styrofoam to insure it will arrive to the consumer in pristine condition. One the styrofoam is removed, the scale is wrapped in plastic. In with the scale is an instruction manual as well as a smaller ziploc bag containing the Lithium battery for this product. I love that they didn’t ship this with the battery inside the scale. Putting the battery into this scale was very easy and it will be easy to access to change when the time comes. The scale is an eggshell color and is made of tempered glass. Measurements of the platform are 11.8″ x 11.8″. This scale can measure in three different ways, pounds, kilograms, and stones. To toggle through which measurement you would like, there is a small red button in the back of this scale by the battery compartment. Simply press until you reach your desired option. Getting a precision scale ready to use has never been easier. 

This scale is equipped with four precision sensors, which is pretty neat. Not only will it give you a precise weight but it will re-calibrate itself if moved. If this scale is moved any, it will know and you should dis-regard the first weight when this happens. Any weigh in after that, is precise. This scale is very easy to read with large numerals. The back screen doesn’t light up, but the numerals are black and large, so a back light really isn’t necessary for this. It’s made out of tempered glass, so it can be a little chilly to stop on 🙂 One really neat feature that I love about this scale is that it has an auto shut off. If it senses ten seconds of inactivity, it will power itself down to save on battery life. Not many scales do that and it is pretty cool that it does that. This scale will tell you on the display screen when the battery is low, so there won’t be any surprises and you can depend on this. Always weight yourself on a flat surface for the scale to work correctly. This is a rule of thumb with any scale of course. 

After use, it is recommended to clean this scale with a lightly dappened cloth. No cleaning solvents are to be used with this as it could compromise the scale. Always keep it dry as well, so after cleaning, dry this off. Vapors from chemicals are said to compromise the electronic components, so it is best to store this away from any you may have in your home. 

So what do I think of this scale. I think it is pretty darn neat. It looks so cool. I have received so many compliments over the holidays from my guests about this item. It compliments any decor in your home, but definitely will stand out and be the topic of conversation. My guests not only loved the look, but how compact and light this is. It measures weight very quickly and accurately. This is priced a lot cheaper than some of the scales that you see at big box stores and their scales aren’t as great looking as this. This scale is priced on Amazon.com for $14.94 USD. That is an unbelievable price.
