Have you ever been out shopping and needed to know if a pair of pants would fit, but you just didn’t want to go and try them on? Me too! I hate going to the dressing rooms and trying things on. I just feel funny I guess. I know there are a lot of people like myself that do not like doing this.
To help yourself not have to go to the dressing rooms, my mother taught me a trick. Now I know a lot of you will laugh at this. I know I did when I first heard it. To be honest, I didn’t believe it. So what do you do? Take the waist line of the pants and wrap it around your neck. If you can match each side to side on the back of your neck, it will fit your waist. Crazy right?
Now, I know, you will probably get some weird looks while at the department store while doing this, but it is actually more common than you think. I decided to pay attention a little bit while shopping this holiday season to see if I indeed see people doing this. I actually did. As I sat wondering how I did not know this for so long, and others did, one thing was for sure, I was not alone with doing this.
