When it comes to emergencies, I would like to think we all are prepared for one. Truth is, many of us aren’t. Some of us don’t even really know where to start when it comes to being prepared for an emergency. Whether it is a weather emergency or a medical emergency, the best thing we can do is to be ready for it.
I was recently offered to try a flood light. Like many people, I never considered this item to have in my emergency preparedness kit, but once brought up, it seemed like a wonderful idea. I was offered to try a Welltop floodlight and I was skeptical. I will admit it. A floodlight that runs off of rechargable small batteries? This is definately different.
When this item arrived, it had a little bit to do to get it ready. I had to twist in a screw to adhere it to the base of this as well as put the batteries inside. Wasn’t hard. Overall it took me a whole three minutes. In the box was a charger, car charger, and a adapter to plug into the light to charge devices like a cell phone or tablet. They really covered all stops here. The light itself is relatively small, but packs a punch when it comes to the light offered. There are three
different settings for the light. There is high, low, and strobe. The strobe comes in handy for an emergency if you are trying to get someone’s attention or even fun for Halloween or a party. The handle has a nice foam over the handle for a good grip while carrying. The bottom has four treads which help keep this item in the place you set it without slipping by chance. Unfortunately, the insert that came with this had no direct directions, but I mean it’s a light and wasn’t hard to figure out. The washers were put on the one side of the screw and then I twisted it on. The button offers a lot of spring and after messing with it, I was unable to get it to stick. This does come with three rechargable batteries which is pretty neat for an item like this. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of this item and I haven’t ran into any issues while using this.
