I have cats that for some reason love to rip into my bread and well after they get ahold of it, it goes to the birds. I was losing a lot of money and plus who likes having their bread just sitting on the counter for all to see. To me, I am a neat freak and I find it a little tacky. This is made from stainless steel and is nice and lightweight. The frosted glass in front on the door compliments the stainless steel very nicely. The handle is mounted very securely. The door goes up very nice and smooth. There are no sharp edges on this. The inside of this is huge. I fit 2 1/2 loaves of bread in this plus 2 packages of hotdog buns. My bread seems to stay fresher longer in this. It compliments my other kitchen appliances nicely and you can barely see through the glass on the door which is another huge plus. This is the perfect accesory for the kitchen. The design it top notch quality and I love it! Would make a perfect house warming present.
