Setting an ambiance in your perfect space often requires some lighting. Sometimes the issue arises as to what kind of light would be best and type. For me, I struggled with this on the deck where we entertain. I wanted it to be a soft light, but light enough for entertaining. It needed to create an ambiance suitable for what I wanted and I am pretty picky.
I came across a company called lights.com. I asked them for a product to review and they kindly obliged with sending me this set. This set is quite neat. I decided to try this out on my patio to see how it would work. Looking at them I seen many things I liked about them. Here’s what I think about them.
This string of lights is by far one of my favorite for the patio. This string of lights offers a considerable length, however, if necessary, it is possible to add more strands to this for more length. The globes do come off of the lights if necessary. The light is very mellow and relaxing offering a decent amount of light, but nothing too bright and overwhelming. The strand seems to offer a decent thickness for durability. This does take four AA batteries which are not included. Battery life seems to be average with any other battery operated string of lights that I have had. The timer is something different that I haven’t seen with a string of lights like this. It is one of my favorite features. The battery compartment is easily accessible with just the twist of the cap. There is a hook on the battery holder to hang it with the string. That too is a feature I have not seen in a product like this, but one that is greatly appreciated. I often struggle to find ways to hang the ends let alone a battery compartment. The quality of this exceptional and the brightness of the lights offers the perfect amount to set the ambiance for a romantic or relacing evening.
