Living off of a lake and being outdoors all the time means you will be suseptible to mosquito bites. I hate using products with Deet on myself and my children, but other products I have tried just really weren’t up to standards unfortunately. We have tried many to be honest. We were offered an opportunity to try this and I have heard good things about the ingredients of this but never in combination, so I kindly obliged to testing it. It comes in a nice easy to spray bottle which sprayed nicely and efficiently. Essential oils have been known for many purposes and are a safe alternative which is what this product mostly is. The smell of this is mostly lavender upon the first smell then the citronella. I didn’t really smell the others until I knew what I was looking for. The smell is pleasant. A lot better than the other mosquito repellants out there. As for how it works…fantastic. The mosquitos aren’t too bad this time of year, but so far no bites on my or the kids which is awesome. This sprays on nicely, doesn’t leave a overwhelming scent behind or a greasy feel. I am confident this is a product many parents would love to use and find effective for their family as I have with mine.
