When it comes to getting old, no one really likes it. There are certain changes and adjustments that we have to make and although we hate to admit it, most are for the best. I have a 97 year old grandmother. She is from the old school and up until a few years ago, all she had for a bathroom in her house was just a toilet. She was from a different time and used to bath in a basin. I personally went nuts. When she finally had to move out of her house and into something that was a little more accessible for her with less stairs, there was an actual bathroom with a shower in there. This was something she wasn’t use to and would often complain she needed a chair or something. She’s 97.
I was offered a chance to try the Dr. Kay’s adjustable height bath seat and I immediately brought it over to my grandmother. Setting it up was very easy. It comes with directions, but it is pretty self explanatory for putting together. Everything snapped into place securely. I love how the bottom has some stoppers on it to help from the chair with any potential slipping. The seat is nice and thick, curved very nicely. The chair dried off very nicely and is very sturdy for her. I am very impressed with the ease of putting this together and the quality. She loves this bath seat and said she is so happy we got to test it.
